General Information

The Laboratory for Internet Computing provides support for projects being conducted by the Heterogeneous Information Group and the Media Technology Group. The Laboratory is currently comprised of a room containing Linux, Windows, and Solaris workstations and a number of servers, including a web server, a database server, and a file server.

Some items of interest:

• Maintained Data Collections
  
• Accessing LINC Data and LINC User Storage Space.
• Scripts to add to your UNIX/LINUX startup environment.
• Software maintained by LINC.  Currently, a list of third party tools.
  
• References: Documents explaining how to use various software installed either on the workstations or the servers.
• Issue Tracker: Report and track issues concerning LINC infrastructure. You must be logged in to access this.
